Built with EQTech Jordan Technologies
Intellectual Property & Data Ownership Policy
Every system that carries this mark is built on technology owned by مؤسسة الجودة والتطوير التقني (EQTech Jordan). The system, its source code and its server logic belong to us; the business data inside it belongs to the client who runs it.

1What the mark means
“Built with EQTech Jordan Technologies” is the signature EQTech places on the systems, websites, platforms and applications it designs, develops or operates. Equivalent wordings — such as “Developed by EQTech Jordan”, “Powered by EQTech” or their Arabic equivalents — have the same meaning.
The mark identifies EQTech as the developer and owner of the technology, gives notice that the system is protected by intellectual property rights, and links to our Legal Center, where this policy and all of our other policies are published. Wherever it appears, this policy applies together with the Agreement under which the system is provided.
2Scope
This policy covers every System EQTech builds or operates — including ERP and CRM systems, HR and payroll systems, accounting systems, websites and online stores, client portals, dashboards, web and mobile applications, APIs, integrations and automations — whether it is hosted by EQTech, on the client's own infrastructure, or with a third-party provider.
3Ownership of the system
مؤسسة الجودة والتطوير التقني (EQTech Jordan) exclusively owns all rights, title and interest — including copyright and every other intellectual property right — in every System and in each of its components, including:
- the source code of the front end and the back end, and all compiled or executable code;
- the server-side logic, APIs, background jobs, scripts and configurations;
- the system architecture, the structure and design of its databases, and its data models;
- the business rules, workflows, calculations and algorithms as implemented in the System;
- the user-interface design, screens, components, templates, libraries and tools;
- the documentation, and every update, version, module, modification and derivative work.
This applies to components created before, during or after an engagement — including features, modules and customisations developed at a client's request and for its exclusive use. Paying development fees, licence fees or a subscription does not transfer ownership of any of them. Ownership can only be transferred by a separate written agreement, signed by EQTech's authorised signatory, that expressly identifies the rights being transferred.
4Server logic and infrastructure
The server-side logic, APIs, background processes and deployment configurations, and the server or cloud environments that EQTech builds or manages, are part of the System and belong to EQTech. Administrative access to them — including source repositories, server root access and deployment credentials — remains with EQTech unless the Agreement provides otherwise in writing.
Where a System runs on infrastructure that the client contracts directly, the client owns that infrastructure account or hardware, but the System deployed on it remains EQTech's property.
5Source code
The source code of every System is a trade secret and confidential information of EQTech. It is not delivered or disclosed to the client or to any third party unless the Agreement expressly provides for it. Where a copy is delivered under such an agreement, that copy remains EQTech's property and may be used only within the limits the agreement sets.
6The client's right of use
Subject to the Agreement and to payment of the fees due, EQTech grants the client a non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable right to use the System for the client's own business operations, within the scope (such as users, branches and modules) and for the period set in the Agreement. All rights not expressly granted are reserved to EQTech.
7The client's data
- The client keeps full ownership of its Client Data. EQTech claims no ownership of it, and processes it only to provide, operate, support, secure and back up the System, as set out in the Client Data Policy.
- The client may obtain a copy of its data in a commonly used, readable format during the Agreement and when it ends, under the Client Data Policy.
- The client keeps ownership of its own name, logo, content and trademarks, and grants EQTech a licence to use them only to build and operate the System.
- The client's rights in its data do not extend to the source code, database design, server logic or any other component of the System.
8Restrictions
Without EQTech's prior written consent, the client — and its employees, contractors and any third party acting for it — may not:
- copy, reproduce or duplicate the System or any part of it;
- modify, translate or adapt it, or create derivative works from it;
- reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble it, or attempt to extract its source code or server logic, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits;
- sell, rent, lease, license, sublicense or lend it, or otherwise make it available to others;
- move it to another hosting environment, or hand it to another developer to maintain, modify or replicate;
- use the System, or knowledge gained from it, to build a competing product;
- bypass its security, licensing or access controls;
- remove, hide, alter or obscure the mark or any copyright notice.
9Keeping the mark visible
The mark must stay visible in the place and form in which EQTech placed it — for example the system footer, the login screen, the “About” screen or printed reports. Removing or hiding it is a breach of this policy. Removing the mark, or offering a System under the client's own brand (white-labelling), is possible only under a separate written agreement.
10Third-party and open-source components
Systems may include third-party or open-source components, libraries, fonts and services that remain the property of their owners and are used under their own licences. EQTech's ownership covers the System and everything EQTech has developed, including the way such components are selected, configured and integrated.
11When the relationship ends
When an Agreement ends for any reason, all intellectual property rights in the System remain with EQTech; the client's right of use ends or continues as the Agreement provides; the client remains entitled to a copy of its data under the Client Data Policy; and the confidentiality obligations and restrictions in this policy continue to apply.
12Protection of our rights
Any use of a System in breach of this policy infringes EQTech's rights. EQTech reserves the right to suspend the related Services and to take every legal action available under the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and applicable international agreements to protect its intellectual property, including seeking an end to the infringement and claiming compensation.
13Relationship with contracts
This policy forms part of every Agreement under which a System is provided. If a contract signed by both parties expressly provides otherwise on a specific matter, the contract prevails on that matter only.
14Verification and licensing
To confirm that a System was genuinely built by EQTech, or to ask about source-code licensing, white-label arrangements or permission to use the mark, write to info@eqtechjo.com.
This document is published in Arabic and English. If the two versions differ, the Arabic version prevails. Questions: info@eqtechjo.com
